About The Position

The Front Desk Administrator serves as the welcoming face and voice of the organization. This role is responsible for creating a positive, professional, and engaging experience for all visitors, callers, and employees. In addition to traditional receptionist duties, this position plays a key role in office coordination, communication, and maintaining a polished, well-organized workplace. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and takes pride in representing the company’s brand and culture from the very first interaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic office technology (phones, email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, candidates, vendors, and customers with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage incoming calls, screen and route inquiries appropriately
  • Maintain visitor logs, issue badges, and follow security protocols
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and reflects the company’s professional image
  • Serve as a central point of contact for the office
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding visitor arrivals and meetings
  • Coordinate conference room scheduling and meeting logistics
  • Assist with internal announcements and office communications
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document preparation
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Order and maintain office supplies and refreshments
  • Support HR, leadership, or office management with administrative tasks as needed
  • Act as a brand ambassador and model company values in all interactions
  • Support company events, meetings, and employee activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Complete errands and miscellaneous tasks
  • Assist executive administrative team as needed
