About The Position

The Fresh Juice Team Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the Fresh Juice Department while ensuring the highest standards of Customer Service, product quality, merchandising, and team performance. This role leads department ordering, inventory, labor, and margin management while fostering a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented environment. The Fresh Juice Team Manager plays a critical role in developing Team Members, building engaging displays, and ensuring proper execution of all operational, safety, and sanitation protocols.

  • Extensive produce knowledge, including quality standards and proper handling.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Schedule flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
  • Bend and stoop to grasp objects; climb ladders as needed.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the Fresh Juice Program, including ordering of product and supplies while maintaining profitability targets.
  • Compile orders from each location and create clear daily production lists for the team.
  • Maintain a 98% fill rate for each order to stores and food service locations.
  • Compile transfers/invoices to accompany each outgoing order and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Partner with Produce Teams to utilize “#2” product (cosmetically imperfect items) appropriate for juicing to support shrink reduction.
  • Manage scheduling and daily labor to meet production needs while staying within budget.
  • Train, mentor, and coach Team Members to succeed; provide ongoing feedback and supervision.
  • Maintain inventory, order supplies, and keep purchase journals current and accurate.
  • Meet all deadlines related to invoices, purchase journals, scheduling, production, and reporting.
  • Ensure all required compliance and food safety logs are completed accurately and on time.
  • Drive consistent execution of standards across production, safety and sanitation, merchandising, ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation.
