The Job We are currently recruiting an entry-level Freight Broker to support logistics operations by coordinating freight movement and maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers. This role blends communication, technology, and problem-solving and is a great fit for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while learning how goods move across the country. No prior logistics experience is required, as training is provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Office software acumen: comfortable with a wide variety of software including, but not limited to Microsoft Suite, Google applications, and relevant databases. Comfortability with tech troubleshooting is a bonus!
  • Complex problem solving: identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Creativity: develop, design, or create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions
  • Communication: express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
  • Organizing and planning: develop specific goals and benchmarks to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the movement of freight between shippers and carriers
  • Communicate with customers and carriers to confirm shipment details and timelines
  • Monitor shipments and proactively address delays or issues
  • Enter, update, and maintain shipment information in internal systems
  • Assist with pricing, documentation, and load setup
  • Support relationship-building with customers and carrier partners
  • Troubleshoot shipment issues and work with internal teams to find solutions
  • Learn and utilize transportation management and logistics technology tools
