As a broker at Western Express, you will get the opportunity to work in our state of the art corporate headquarters in Nashville, TN alongside some of the best minds in the industry. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to maximize revenue by collaborating with other lines of business to deliver the best transit solution to the customer. Salary range $60,000-$90,000 depending on your incentive earnings, which are based on performance.

Requirements

Must be results oriented and a team player.
Must have exemplary telephone skills, oral, and written communication skills.
Must have a drive to succeed
Must possess a strong sense of urgency and purpose
Must be able to adapt to ever changing situations
Must be a forward-thinking problem solver
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

Nice To Haves

Previous sales or management experience is a plus
Spanish speaking is a plus!

Responsibilities

Building long term relationships with clients
Managing Transportation needs for those clients
Negotiating freight rates with clients and continuing to drive rapid and sustainable growth
Tracking transportation requirements for clients
Working closely with a team of associates to improve processes
Making multiple phone calls per day to service clients
