A well-established, asset-based transportation company headquartered in St. Charles, MO is seeking a Freight Broker to join its fast-paced and dynamic Brokerage Department . The company specializes in cross-border logistics solutions across Mexico, the U.S., and Canada .

Requirements

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with cold calling and carrier development
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with AS400 preferred
• Previous experience in brokerage, logistics, or sales is required

Nice To Haves

• Existing customer and/or carrier relationships are a plus

Responsibilities

• Match customer freight with qualified carriers
• Manage freight and relationships with current customers
• Develop and maintain a strong carrier base
• Identify and generate new freight opportunities
• Dispatch drivers and ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Plan, track, and trace freight movements to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
