About The Position

Inventory Control Specialists assist in this mission by performing the duties of counting and verifying product in the warehouse using handheld devices or forms as well as handling obsolete inventory and validating processes are in place per SOPs. Requirements

• Being able to work in Freezer ( 0 to -20) temperatures for long periods of time
• Prior experience with Inventory Control or similar processes
• Familiarity with WMS systems and data entry
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience on MHE equipment is a preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducting accurate cycle count of inventory locations per handheld device/forms in the warehouse and make system updates as required
• Researching and resolving inventory variances
• Validating dating of product in the warehouse and update as required
• Auditing and correcting inbound receiving paperwork and perform audits of SOP's as required by supervisor
• Responding to buyer requests for item checks in the warehouse
• Coordinate the handling of obsolete and at risk inventory (vendor returns, donations, recalls) to include: identifying, communicating, adjusting and validating product
• Auditing the warehouse processes to ensure we are compliant/manage gains/losses
• Monitor activity to ensure work carried out effectively, resolve issues as necessary
• Review processes to ensure correct execution
• Storage reconciliation as assigned
