About The Position

Outkick is looking for a versatile, high-energy production professional to join our Nashville team. This hybrid role combines high-end creative video editing with the technical execution of live streaming and studio operations. You will be part of a collaborative team providing creative, technically sound content across multiple platforms while assisting our daily broadcasts. Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in live digital streaming and 2+ years of non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) and live broadcast technologies ( LiveU, Blackmagic, OBS ).
  • Live Production Skills: Deep knowledge of latest streaming technologies, encoder/decoders, and studio hardware (Blackmagic, LiveU, Lighting/Audio).
  • Editorial Judgment: A passion for Sports, News, and Pop Culture with the ability to turn raw footage into dynamic, broadcast-quality packages quickly.
  • Operational Agility: Ability to handle multiple projects in a high-pressure, 24-hour breaking news environment.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction and feedback from producers and executives at all levels.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as the news cycle dictates.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as needed for remote productions.

Responsibilities

  • Video Editing: Execute high-quality edits for long-form specialty content, show cut-downs, and promotional materials using Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Live Studio Operations: Assist show producers in the daily execution of live streams; operate Blackmagic ATEM switchers, ProPresenter graphics, and OBS software.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Initiate and manage LiveU video streams, encoders/decoders, and guest integrations (Zoom/LiveU); troubleshoot studio lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
  • Post-Production: Enhance video content with graphics, photos, and effects (After Effects/Photoshop)
  • Quality Control: Serve as the primary "last line of defense" for all technical and editorial requirements to ensure error-free broadcasts.
  • Technical Growth: Proactively learn new broadcast technologies and increase knowledge of existing systems to stay ahead of the curve.
