About The Position
This Freelance Graphic Designer supports the Marketing team by providing design services on an as-needed basis. This role assists with the design and development of Tyndale marketing assets across print and digital platforms, helping enhance brand presence through visually engaging content and creative ideas. Work is assigned per project or task, with no minimum weekly hour requirement. This is a freelance, as-needed position. Work is assigned on a per-project or per-task basis and does not include a guaranteed or minimum number of hours per week.
Requirements
- BFA, BA, BGD or other design related degree
- Designer must have a portfolio of samples
- Must have their own laptop
- Must be proficient in, and have access to, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Office Applications
- Willing to coordinate over email and Zoom meetings.
- Strong layout, visual design, and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate creative ideas effectively
- Ability to take constructive criticism and adjust designs as needed to accomplish project goals
- Availability will be coordinated in advance for each project.

- All work created as part of this role will be considered work made for hire and will remain the property of Tyndale. Portfolio usage may be permitted with prior written approval.
Nice To Haves
- Video editing skills are a plus
- Experience in agency or retail environment a plus
Responsibilities
- Design and develop marketing materials across print and digital platforms , including but not limited to: social media graphics, emails, banner ads, blog images, presentation slides, and print media such as brochures, posters, flyers, etc.
- Prepare images/advertising assets as needed for digital, web, social platforms, print, and/or video.
- Retouch and manipulate images
- Apply strong design, color, and typography skills to produce high-quality creative assets.
- Consistently apply brand standards concerning all company logos, images, and visuals.
- Manage assigned tasks independently, meeting agreed-upon timelines and project requirements. Typical turnaround times and availability expectations will be communicated at the start of each project.
