About The Position

We’re looking for a Freelance Creative Operations Lead to join us at a pivotal moment. This role is responsible for bringing clarity, momentum and operational excellence to our creative organization during a leadership transition. This is not a traditional project management or traffic role. It’s a senior, hands-on position for someone who understands creative work deeply and knows how to enable teams to deliver high-quality output, on time, without chaos. You’ll act as the operational backbone and right hand to our creative function, working closely with creative, marketing, production, and leadership partners. The role is freelance through May/June, with strong potential to convert to full-time for the right person.

Requirements

  • A seasoned creative operations leader with senior-level experience
  • Have worked in both: Scrappy, fast-moving environments, Global organizations
  • Exceptionally strong at process, project management and execution
  • Bring creative judgment and production fluency
  • Calm, organized and steady under pressure
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating clarity quickly
  • Care deeply about both delivery and team health
  • Typically 8–12+ years of experience in Creative Operations, Creative Production or Integrated Marketing Operations
  • This role is scoped at a Senior Manager level, but Director-level candidates who are comfortable being hands-on are encouraged to apply
  • Final scope and leveling will be aligned to experience and impact

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end flow of creative work across campaigns, launches and initiatives
  • Build and manage integrated timelines, milestones and dependencies
  • Ensure priorities are clear, realistic and well-sequenced
  • Bring calm and structure to a fast-moving environment
  • Personally manage day-to-day execution of key creative initiatives
  • Track progress in detail, nothing falls through the cracks
  • Anticipate risks, flag issues early and propose solutions
  • Act as the administrative and operational right hand for major creative projects
  • Bring strong creative sensibility and respect for craft
  • Understand creative process, pacing and pressure points
  • Know when to push for rigor and when to protect creative space
  • Earn trust by being a true partner, not a blocker
  • Provide clear updates to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Translate complexity into clarity
  • Be a reliable source of truth on status, risks and delivery
  • Partner closely with production teams (internal and external)
  • Understand scope, timelines, and production tradeoffs
  • Help ensure ideas move smoothly from concept to execution to delivery
