About The Position

BODYBAR is seeking a passionate and driven Freelance Brand Manager to support the Studio Manager in promoting our brand, enhancing customer experience, and driving local community engagement. The short-term-based freelance Brand Manager will oversee grassroots marketing efforts, influencer relations, and community outreach programs. The role also involves ensuring that BODYBAR’s brand voice is consistently represented across all channels.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in brand management, digital marketing, sales and community outreach.
  • Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Creative design skills and familiarity with creating marketing content (social media, flyers, etc.).
  • Experience in influencer management, partnership development, and grassroots marketing.
  • Ability to analyze data, pull reports, and develop actionable marketing strategies.
  • Sales experience a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Canva knowledge is a plus.
  • Charity partnership experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the fitness or wellness industry.
  • 6 years of marketing and sales experience
  • Passion for community-driven marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Community Outreach & Events: Plan and execute local events, build community relationships, and develop grassroots marketing strategies to increase brand visibility.
  • Influencer & Ambassador Management: Find and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance brand advocacy and reach.
  • Business Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with local businesses to strengthen brand presence and create collaborative marketing opportunities.
  • Work with the Studio Manager to develop in-studio marketing strategies to retain customers, attract new members, and foster community growth.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up to date on competitor activity, industry trends, and new marketing opportunities.
  • Sales & Client Management: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to implement sales strategies, client management processes, and promotional offers.
  • Work with the Studio Manager to develop in-studio marketing strategies to retain customers, attract new members, and foster community growth.
