The Irene and Richard Frary Gallery is seeking a creative and dedicated Frary Gallery Manager to play a key supporting role in the successful operation of the Irene and Richard Frary Gallery and the arts and culture programming at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center (HBC) in Washington, DC. This individual reports to the Director of the Gallery and will help support the daily administrative, programmatic, and logistical needs of the gallery as well as pop-up/temporary exhibitions and arts and culture programming. In close collaboration with the Gallery Director, this position supports exhibition planning and implementation, and related programming. This role will also support fundraising efforts in coordination with Development and Alumni Relations, student engagement efforts, event coordination, and communications. In addition, the manager will coordinate all gallery-related contracts and vendor agreements, coordinating with the Finance and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures. The Gallery Manager also supports day-to-day operational needs, public safety, and facilities management. Work schedule requires availability for ad hoc evening and weekend work related to gallery and center-related programming, exhibition openings, etc.
