About The Position

The Franchise Support Specialist (aka Jumpstart Coach) is a critical role in the organization.  New Franchisees require a lot of support and guidance to prepare them to successfully launch their business. The Jumpstart Coach meets weekly with new Franchisees and directs, assists, and coordinates the timely completion of essential tasks outlined in the JumpStart program.  This position reports to the Director of Shared Services, Operations, BELFOR Franchise Group.  The position is an in office position at the Ann Arbor corporate headquarters.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides ongoing Franchisee support, guidance, and direction on all tasks in the JumpStart task list.
  • Works with and communicates effectively with all internal departments and follows up to ensure timely exchange of information and completion of tasks.
  • Works independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks and manages project due dates.
  • Develops a solid working knowledge of FranConnect, the Franchise Management Platform. Ensures that essential franchise data is recorded accurately for critical fields as required for each franchisee throughout their JumpStart process.
  • Provides an introduction and overview of FranConnect to new franchisees.
  • Facilitates tracking and reporting process on franchisees critical actions.
  • Responds to inquiries and requests via phone and email in a timely manner.
  • May conduct licensing and permitting research and data collection, compile written summary of findings and provides ongoing support to ensure jurisdictional/local governmental compliance.
  • Oversees related third-party vendor partnerships as they pertain to specific franchisee onboarding tasks.
  • Assists in the coordination of New Buyer Training and may include preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations, preparing training materials, and coordinating lunches and dinners.
  • Initiates a quarterly review of the Pre-Launch and Operations manual with the Brand President, in addition to all associated forms. 
  • Ensures franchisee satisfaction with on-time delivery of information and support.
  • Updates the training calendars.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
