About The Position

BELFOR Franchise Group is a leading global residential and commercial services franchisor, operating as a division of BELFOR Property Restoration. Their mission is "Restoring More Than Property," and they support a family of well-recognized franchise brands. The Franchise Development department is responsible for the growth of these brands by identifying and qualifying prospective franchisees and guiding them through the discovery and awarding process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of franchising. The intern will support the dynamic Franchise Development team with various tasks related to lead generation, market research, candidate communication, and administrative support. This role is ideal for a student interested in business development, sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship, and will report to the Franchise Development Administrative Manager.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
  • Interest in the franchising industry and business development.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the initial qualification and management of leads.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and competitor analysis for our various brands.
  • Support the Franchise Development team in preparing materials for prospective franchisees.
  • Learn about and assist with maintaining data in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Help coordinate and prepare for discovery days with franchise candidates.
  • Assist with creating and updating reports related to franchise sales and development activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Franchise Development team as needed.
  • Gain exposure to the different franchise brands within the BELFOR Franchise Group and understand their unique value propositions.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the Franchise Development department.
