About The Position

As a Franchise Conversion Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding independent business owners through the entire process of converting their existing operations into a franchise brand. You will serve as the primary contact ensuring support, resources, training and guidance are met to brand standards with a successful franchise launch. The Franchise Conversion Specialist directly contributes to franchise growth, brand consistency, and long-term franchisee success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A., B.B.A., or B.S.) in Business, Marketing, Operations; or three years experience in franchise sales, business consulting or conversions
  • Strong experience with a CRM system
  • Ability to achieve goals and exceed expectations under pressure
  • Eligible driver’s license and valid automobile insurance
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office products
  • Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Must be able to maintain a credit card with an available credit limit to cover expenses

  • Experience with small business owners in the (business market, signage or promotional products industry) or franchise systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison for independent business owners from initial inquiry through conversion completion.
  • Create and manage individualized conversion plans, timelines, and goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (legal, operations, marketing, training, IT) to ensure adherence to corporate standards.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with potential franchisees.
  • Provide clear communication regarding requirements, expectations, and next steps.
  • Troubleshoot challenges and escalate issues appropriately to ensure a positive franchisee experience.
  • Guide businesses through adopting brand standards, systems, technology platforms, and operational procedures.
  • Support franchisees in understanding product offerings, pricing models, branding guidelines, and compliance expectations.
  • Conduct site visits or virtual assessments to verify operational readiness.
  • Deliver or coordinate training sessions to support franchisees in transitioning their business operations.
  • Ensure franchisees are equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to operate successfully under the brand.
  • Assist with the completion of required documentation, including application forms, agreements, and compliance checklists.
  • Ensure all conversion activities meet legal, regulatory, and brand-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress in CRM tools.
  • Track conversion metrics and provide regular summaries to leadership.
  • Identify trends or constraints in the conversion process and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute insights to support ongoing refinement of franchise development strategies.
