About The Position
Under general supervision from the assistant division director, supervise and support the SCDC frame shop operations, employees & Inmates to include hiring, training & performance issues. Responsible for all production & sales related to operations while adhering to the SCDC mission. Ensure work environment is safe, secure & adequate supplies are available. Oversee showroom by maintaining adequate inventories, appropriate displays & interaction with customers. Enter data into SCEIS/mainframe accurately & timely related to the employment of inmate workers. Provide administrative & sales support to the sales team/operational staff. Assist with market research initiatives& coordinate product catalogs. Assist & resolve customer issues/complaints promptly & professionally. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
- A bachelor's degree may be substituted for required work experience.
