About mpathic The Role mpathic is building its internal People Ops function and hiring its first senior Talent leader. This Director-level role is responsible for personally delivering critical hires now while building the recruiting systems, standards, and team that will scale with the company. This is a hands-on role. You will recruit, close, and onboard talent yourself while setting the foundation for how hiring decisions get made at mpathic. What You’ll Do Own end-to-end recruiting for priority roles across technical, product, and business teams Act as a hands-on recruiter first — sourcing, screening, closing, and onboarding Design and implement practical recruiting processes that work in high-growth environments Build and manage the recruiting function, including hiring and leading a Recruiting Coordinator Partner closely with the Head of People & Finance on workforce planning and hiring strategy Establish interview standards, scorecards, and decision discipline Improve candidate experience, hiring manager readiness, and time-to-hire What We’re Looking For Director-level recruiting experience in Series A–C companies Proven experience hiring in fast-moving, ambiguous environments Comfortable being both strategic and deeply tactical Strong executive and hiring-manager partnership skills Experience building recruiting teams and processes from scratch Seattle-based Apply Even If You Don’t Check Every Box If you’re excited about building systems that make AI safety scalable, reliable, and real —and want to operate at the center of AI Safety, QA, Engineering, and Delivery—we’d love to hear from you.
