As FPGA Design Engineer you will be responsible for; Design, develop, and maintain FPGA‑based digital subsystems supporting advanced imaging and embedded platforms. Write, simulate, and debug VHDL code for high‑performance, safety‑critical applications. Participate in full product lifecycle activities including architecture definition, implementation, verification, and validation. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (systems, hardware, firmware, and verification) to ensure seamless subsystem integration. Support design reviews, requirements traceability, and technical documentation in alignment with established quality and compliance processes. Troubleshoot and resolve FPGA‑level and subsystem‑level issues during development, integration, and testing. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to design practices, tools, and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on FPGA development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in VHDL programming.
  • Experience with FPGA simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and debugging tools.
  • Solid understanding of digital design principles and hardware interfaces.
  • Ability to work onsite in a designated engineering development location
