About The Position

As a FP&A Manager for Operations supporting the Photonics Solutions Division, you will partner with Global Operations and Business Unit teams to help drive the planning and forward-looking analysis of the division's gross margin performance. In this role, you will report to the Director of Finance, PSD Global Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA and/or CPA/CMA a plus.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a finance role with hands-on experience in providing financial analysis to drive key business decisions within the context of a matrix organization and/or corporate environment
  • Systems experience, including, but not limited to: SAP/Oracle, Hyperion, HFM, MS Excel. Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interpret and summarize financial analysis results in a clear, concise, accurate manner
  • Ability to work effectively with global and remote team

Responsibilities

  • Drive the analytical process for impactful business decisions based on key performance indicators
  • Lead quarterly/ monthly business review (MBR/QBR) financial analysis and commentary
  • Lead the plan of record (POR), quarterly forecasting, and weekly outlook process
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of financial analysis across entities
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams globally to manage functional spending reviews and profit and cash recovery initiatives
  • Advise management on key financial drivers including, but not limited to revenue, operational drivers, expense management, operational headcount efficiency metrics, investment analysis, and profit and cash recovery opportunities.
  • Help to implement pacing mechanisms with functional leaders for revenues, margins, inventory, capital expenditures and headcounts within a mixed system landscape
  • Provide business intelligence on factory performance, opportunities and challenges
  • Contribute to deep dives and complex analysis to understand variances to budget, prior quarters and prior years (bridges)
  • Perform or lead special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required
  • Establish credibility and act as a trusted business partner for Operations leadership
