The FP&A Analyst will serve as a key financial partner to the System Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) organization, with a primary focus on supporting the System Integrity Center. The ideal candidate will bring strong skills in forecasting, budgeting, investment analysis, and operational decision making. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can translate data into actionable insights, and enjoys partnering closely with technical and engineering leaders.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • FP&A or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience with Excel and financial planning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly forecast cycles, annual operating plans, and long‑range planning for System Integrity Center in the SE&TC discipline.
  • Partner with engineering and technical leadership to provide financial insights on spend trends, staffing forecasts, an OH investments.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise variance analyses with operational and financial drivers to System Integrity Leadership team.
  • Consolidate labor, non-labor, and headcount forecasts to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Support business case development for new engineering investments, capability expansions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, reporting tools, and dashboards that drive decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Government Accounting,
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards.
  • Identify and lead process improvements that enhance efficiency and data quality.
