Who are we looking for?The FP&A Analyst will serve as the primary data owner and analytical backbone for the MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions (MEIS) global business. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance – MEIS, this role will manage, structure, and optimize all product, customer, and commercial data used across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, as well as, its global line of business. This position will be the central point of contact for global data needs—responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of information across multiple systems including SAP, JDE, HFM/Planning, Essbase, SmartView, and business intelligence platforms. The role will develop and maintain standardized datasets, reporting tools, and dashboards that enable clear visibility into product performance, customer trends, pricing, mix, and margin analytics. The Global Data Analyst will partner closely with regional finance, commercial, supply chain, and IT teams to streamline data flows, implement governance standards, and drive global alignment in reporting. This role will be instrumental in building a unified, scalable data environment that supports strategic decision-making, enhances business transparency, and strengthens the quality of insights delivered to global leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or systems support - preferably in a commercial, supply chain, or manufacturing environment.
  • Expert experience with ERP systems (SAP, JDE highly preferred) and financial planning tools (HFM, SmartView, Essbase, Planning).
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI (preferred), advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
  • Experience with data integration, master data, and system governance processes.
  • Demonstrated success in driving process automation, data accuracy, and analytics improvements across complex organizations.
  • Experience supporting change management in a fast-paced or acquisitive environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business partners and stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prepare the global data sets required for month-end and quarter-end reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all regions (NA, SA, Europe, Asia) and Lines of Business.
  • Validate and reconcile data from SAP, JDE, HFM/Planning, Essbase, and other sources to support global financial and commercial reporting.
  • Provide analytics and data-driven insights on product performance, customer trends, pricing, mix, and margin movements across regions.
  • Identify and explain key data drivers behind variances, trends, and anomalies, ensuring leadership has reliable information for Budget, Forecast, and Actuals.
  • Support the improvement of global reporting cycles by automating data flows, enhancing data quality, and strengthening standard reporting structures for monthly, quarterly, and annual processes.
  • Performance of efficiency opportunities and other special projects as defined by the VP of Finance – MEIS Central Units departments
  • Lead the alignment, integration, and optimization of global data platforms, including SAP, JDE, HFM/Planning, Essbase, SmartView, and BI tools.
  • Ensure data integrity and reliability to support timely, accurate global reporting and analytics for all regions (NA, SA, Europe, Asia).
  • Continuously enhance data quality, system interfaces, automation processes, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and insight delivery.
  • Deliver actionable, data-driven analysis and KPI reporting to the VP of Finance – MEIS and other senior leadership across the global business.
  • Enable centralized scenario planning and modeling through a deep understanding of global commercial, operational, and financial data flows.
  • Own and execute accurate, “right first time” ad hoc analyses, data extracts, and system queries to support strategic decisions.
  • Act as the global data authority, establishing best practices, guiding cross-functional teams, and expanding analytics capabilities across all regions.
