About The Position

The FP&A Analyst I provides analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements. This entry-level role participates in financial management planning to include business unit/area financial planning, overhead, and general & administrative planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and coordinating submittals to business area and corporate entities. As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.
  • Ability to leverage advancing financial tech to continuously improve modeling, forecasting, and financial insights.
  • Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements.
  • Participate in indirect rate planning.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial management plans.
  • Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of financial deliverables to corporate entities.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
  • Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis to understand business performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
