Fountain Worker - Beach Grill - Mandalay Bay
About The Position
As a Fountain Worker for Beach Grill at Mandalay Bay, you will help create a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the resort’s iconic poolside dining experience. With your friendly smile and attentive service, you will set the stage for memorable guest interactions while supporting daily food and beverage service in a lively outdoor setting. By understanding each guest’s unique story and needs, you will truly own their experience—creating WOW memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay—while contributing to smooth operations and exceptional service at Beach Grill.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast pace restaurant preferred
Responsibilities
- Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
- Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
