About The Position

Reporting to CEO, this role will be a core member of the team responsible for scaling Valerie’s business and operations. You’ll own high-priority projects, build new systems, and drive cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. One day you might be diagnosing workflow bottlenecks and driving efficiency improvements with Product and Engineering, another day you’re working alongside our Customer team to quantify value and ROI, and the next you’re modeling operational capacity to ensure we can support our rapid growth. The ideal candidate blends a foundation in consulting and/or product with hands-on startup experience. You bring structured thinking and analytical rigor, but also thrive in ambiguity and are eager to roll up your sleeves. This is a rare opportunity to join as an early operator, shape the DNA of the Valerie team, and play a pivotal role in scaling an AI-native healthcare technology company from the ground up.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience, including 2+ years operating at an early or growth stage startup or in venture capital.
• End-to-end ownership with a track record of expansively owning and driving key business outcomes on high-performing teams
• Strong analytical toolkit: advanced SQL and spreadsheet skills (data cleaning, analysis, and modeling)
• Structured Thinker: You bring structure and rigor to ambiguous problems to drive execution and scale.
• Analytical Rigor: Comfortable with numbers, frameworks, and building clarity from complexity.
• Growth Mindset: You are eager to learn new approaches, seek feedback, and continually improve skill sets.
• Action-Oriented: You don’t stop at strategy, you own outcomes end-to-end.
• Strong Communicator: You are clear and succinct in both written and verbal communication, capable of adjusting style for different audiences.
• Work as Craft: You take pride in your work and thrive when achieving a high quality bar, but also have good intuition around what is “good enough” to achieve high velocity execution.

Responsibilities

• Own Strategic Projects: Scope, structure, and execute cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Analyze, Model & Report: Build financial, operational, and workforce models, design dashboards to track KPIs, and generate insights to guide decisions.
• Drive Product Improvement: Translate on-the-ground insights into product requirements; operationalize new features and workflows.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct research to inform go-to-market, expansion, and product strategy.
