About The Position

About Simple Simple AI is building state of the art voice AI agents for enterprise. Our realistic agents help iconic businesses like Doordash, xAI, and Omaha Steaks handle all kinds of phone operations, from customer support to order intake to lead qualifications. We are growing revenue like crazy and looking to hire a founding iOS software engineer to help build and maintain our mobile consumer application. We are very excited about the potential for AI to change the world, and work out of our SF based office 5 days a week. Simple AI is backed by world-class investors and operators like Y Combinator, Massive Tech Ventures, Michael Seibel (co-founder of Twitch), Jared Friedman (Scribd), Alexandr Wang (Scale AI), Matt Van Horn (June Oven and Lyft), Suhail Doshi (Mixpanel), JJ Fliegelman (WayUp) and Scott Wu (Cognition). The Team The founders ( Catheryn and Zach ) met while running software teams at YC, where they shipped tons of new products for YC founders, including YC’s co-founder matching site. Cat previously worked at Instagram and Facebook and earned degrees in math and computer science at MIT. Zach previously studied computer science and statistics at UChicago and led software at PEAK6. We have grown into a strong team of 8 and are continuing to scale quickly

Requirements

4+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
Strong product intuition and ability to translate ambiguous needs into polished user experiences.
A customer-first mindset with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for learning and keeping up with the latest AI advancements.
