About The Position

Tracebit is helping some of the world's best security teams at Snyk, Docker, Riot Games and many more to 'assume breach' at scale. Tracebit detects intrusions in cloud environments using canaries - decoy tripwires deployed to deceive attackers. We're at a massive inflection point and this is a hugely exciting time to join the company: We are backed by some of the best investors in the space (Accel, Tapestry and more). We are growing very quickly (we doubled ARR last quarter), having recently closed some incredible customers that we can't disclose publicly! We are one of the most exciting startups to be part of in cybersecurity, have seen some great feedback from the market and are ready for explosive growth. Creandum's Euro Seed top 50 list, Sifted's 2025 London Startups To Watch, Notions Cloud Top 100, AlbionVC's NHI Breakdown, MMCs Proactive Security Analysis, Accel's Euroscape Top Startups 2024, etc. Our CTO’s research has recently helped fix a P1 security flaw in Google's Gemini CLI. We have grown the company from 2 to 18 people in 18 months, with plans to triple this year. We have strong traction in the US (80% of our revenue). We've achieved this with a small team based entirely in London. We’ve now hired our first Founding AEs in New York and are actively building out our US team. You'll report to our Founding Sales Lead, who previously spent 5 years at Snyk as an early employee during a hyper-growth period from $24M to $300M ARR and 200 to 1,200 employees. You'll also work closely with Tracebit's Co-Founders (CEO and CTO), who were both early employees at Tessian, helping scale the company to a reported $500M exit. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage, high-growth cybersecurity company, where you'll have real influence on our business growth with the opportunity to propel your career forward in tech sales. We envision the right person becoming a quota-carrying seller and future leader in the company. As our first US-based SDR, you'll be instrumental in building our US sales development engine. Working from our Manhattan office 5 days a week, you'll design, build, and scale an effective sales outreach process that drives new business opportunities for Tracebit.

Requirements

  • 9+ months of SDR experience at a technology company, ideally Cyber Security or Developer Tooling, with strong success against targets.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, providing customer service, dealing with complaints, and working in busy environments.
  • Demonstrated high achievement outside of work, whether in sports, music, art, or other pursuits. Proven ability to work hard and drive performant outcomes.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts. You don't need a technical background, but building knowledge in cybersecurity will help you excel.
  • Emotional Intelligence - A strong sense of intuition, the ability to work with people, build relationships, and read a room.
  • Hunger and Drive - Someone with high aspirations, a competitive nature, and rapid career progression goals.
  • Attention to Detail - We care about producing high-quality work at Tracebit, not just volume.
  • Grit and Resilience - Outbound sales is tough; we need someone who can push through the "no's" and keep their head up.
  • Entrepreneurial and Hard-Working - Someone excited to build a company, work hard, and make things happen.

Responsibilities

  • Own the process of setting up meetings and pipeline generation across all mediums.
  • Create and deliver exceptional outbound copy across email and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct large volumes of cold calling into ideal customer accounts.
  • Build a network of cybersecurity professionals, fostering relationships across our market and sharing Tracebit's progress.
  • Develop areas like our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging, pitch, and email strategy.
  • Be closely involved in our inbound strategy, working with sales and marketing to drive more inbound business.
  • Attend regular industry events, representing Tracebit at conference booths and sharing our message.
  • Become an expert at telling the Tracebit story and articulating our value proposition.
