About The Position

Deeptune builds training gyms for AI agents. We work with frontier AI labs to help them train the next generation of agentic models. We're backed by world-class investors and are closing our Series A in the coming weeks, have a world-class founding team, and have crossed $10M ARR in the last six months, with plans to 10x in 2026. We are seeking an experienced Founding Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in driving our growth by identifying and attracting Engineering and Operations talent to our organization.

Requirements

  • Proven Recruiting Expertise: You have experience (3+ years) leading full-cycle recruitment, particularly for technical roles in fast-growing environments, and can drive strategy and execution for multiple roles simultaneously.
  • You know what great looks like: You've recruited exceptional technical and ops talent and are just as comfortable evaluating engineers as you are operators.
  • Experience in Early-Stage Startups is a must: Previous work within a startup or tech environment is required; having experience at an early-stage startup that scaled rapidly is preferred
  • Experience with Ashby ATS: Familiarity with Ashby Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is essential for managing candidate data, tracking the progress of open positions, and optimizing the recruitment workflow.
  • Previous experience building hiring processes from scratch
  • Are familiar with the AI startup talent landscape
  • You are excited about building in-person, 5 days a week, from our office in Union Square, and are comfortable with 50-60-hour weeks.

  • Own the full cycle of attracting top-tier talent to our team across all functions
  • Create scalable systems for sourcing, interviewing, and closing top candidates
  • Craft a distinctive candidate experience that reflects Deeptune’s talent bar, culture, and velocity.
  • Own our employer brand, pitch, and messaging across channels
  • Continuously refine and enhance our recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide tight feedback to leadership on what candidates are looking for, where we're losing people, and what's resonating in our pitch.
