About The Position

About Hera Every complex system in America has a profession whose job it is to be your trusted guide. You have a lawyer for legal matters. An accountant for taxes. A financial advisor for your money. Healthcare, a trillion-dollar industry that's arguably the most complex and touches every single family, leaves us on our own. Hera is creating a new profession in healthcare: the Hero, a dedicated senior care expert for your family. They focus on the “last mile” of healthcare, the 99% of care that happens outside the four walls. Our Heroes educate, coordinate, and advocate for the most vulnerable population in the healthcare system — covered by insurance, so every family in America that needs us can access us. We are in the business of trust. Hera's brand promise is simple: care that would only be great enough for our own parents. We've closed a sizable seed round led by Accel and reached seven-figure GMV on organic distribution alone. The customer feedback is the most positive our team has seen in our careers. How we grow today Today Hera primarily grows through the most trusted referral in healthcare: a physician or social worker. We're embedded at NYU Langone, Weill Cornell, and Mount Sinai. Departments reach out unprompted. We show up in health system newsletters we didn't pitch. That's a powerful foundation, and a ceiling. The families who need Hera most aren't only the ones a doctor sends us. Growth marketing is how we reach the rest of them: adult children in the middle of a caregiving crisis, searching at midnight. Families who don't know they can get help like this, covered by Medicare. This role is how Hera gets to them. Early brand wins Viral community moments: we organized an art show for an 88-year-old man, Ben Feldshuh, and the TikTok went viral. NY1 & NBC covered it; on the night of the show, every single one of Ben's 40+ paintings sold and over 300 people came. We’ve now turned this into an ongoing series, Hera Bridges. Released our “Age Your Way” launch video, featuring 5 fabulous New Yorkers - Elizabeth, Andrea, Gladys, Stanley, and Michael aging with joie de vivre. The video was highlighted by Director’s Library. $0 spent on customer acquisition with 95% customer retention What this role is Great growth marketing is rare because it requires two things that don't often live in the same person: excellent creative instinct and analytical rigor. In this hire, we're looking for both. You'll own the full B2C growth engine: strategy, budget, creative, measurement – working alongside existing storytelling and brand efforts to make sure everything we put into the world is true to who we are.

Requirements

  • You have exceptional taste and a curatorial eye, and also run towards the data.
  • You’re a generalist by disposition, and can flex from high-level strategy to the nitty-gritty.
  • You’re great at editing – knowing exactly what to strip away to make something land.
  • You're a first-principles thinker. You don't reach for a best-practices playbook. You find where the real leverage is and build from there.
  • You use AI to go faster and get further, without losing the thing that makes the work good.
  • You care about the mission. We're not selling b2b software, we're helping families in crisis get help. You feel the weight of that.
  • 3-6 years in growth, creative, or performance marketing, in-house, agency, or startup.
  • You've run paid campaigns and have the results to show for it.
  • Work you're proud of across a portfolio of channels (bonus points if you've run a viral campaign).
  • A track record of figuring things out without a large team behind you.
  • Fluency with AI tools for creative production, copy, research, and workflow.
  • We are in person in NYC.

Responsibilities

  • Create content that earns attention: emotive, informative, and highly shareable.
  • Own SEO and paid acquisition across social and search, from creative to bid strategy to post-mortem.
  • Run rigorous experiments and treat every campaign as a hypothesis.
  • Design attribution frameworks that give us a true picture of what's working.
  • Build the systems that let one person do what used to take a team: automated workflows, AI-assisted production, feedback loops that compound.
  • Manage budget with precision and the confidence to scale what's working fast.
