Frontier AI labs are developing AI that can free people to focus on meaningful, high-impact work—yet, most teams don’t know where to start and are being left behind. We’re building AI that helps teams uncover their best automation opportunities and build those automations. The role We are hiring a Founding Frontend Engineer to be the tip of the spear for turning Worktrace AI’s ambitious product vision into reality. In this role, you will be a key part of the founding team—ideating, prototyping, and ultimately shipping frontend experiences in cutting-edge AI products. Along with building, you will identify key areas for engineering investment, build the technical foundation as we scale, and lead by example to build a healthy and strong engineering culture.

Requirements

Have 3-5 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer
Are proficient with React and TypeScript, or another modern framework with willingness to learn React
Have solid experience with CSS
Have a strong sense for clean design, accessibility, and polished experiences
Love rapidly building user-facing products in a fast-paced environment
Find joy in delivering AI magic moments to users

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Design, Research and Backend Engineering to build novel AI experiences
Build beautiful, production-ready desktop and web experiences with React, Typescript, and CSS
Set the talent and culture standards for Worktrace AI’s engineering team
