That's why we're building sophisticated AI Teammates designed to master complex workflows and collaborate with human experts. We're starting by tackling the trillion-dollar U.S. Property & Casualty insurance market, a space with intricate processes and a rich data environment perfect for this challenge. We’ve raised $10 million in seed funding from Lightspeed Ventures & Valor Equity Partners. Our dedicated team is based in San Francisco and thrives on in-person collaboration to solve these challenging problems. As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our initial team, playing a pivotal role in designing and building our core product from the ground up. You’ll push the frontiers of AI and human collaboration on some of the most data-heavy analytical projects that insurance professionals work on.
Requirements
- Have deep experience building production-grade web applications with modern frameworks (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
- Care about performance, accessibility, and pixel-perfect implementation.
- Have strong UI/UX sensibilities and enjoy collaborating with designers to ship delightful experiences.
- Are a collaborative, fast learner who wants to join a small team and have an outsized impact.
Nice To Haves
- Have experience with data visualization, realtime systems, or working on complex workflow tools.
Responsibilities
- Enable long-horizon task completion by building the foundational UX patterns for working with multi-turn, multi-tool agentic systems.
- Empower actuaries and underwriters to work on thousands of documents in parallel by giving them access to coding and coding agents.
- Architect and implement our frontend stack using modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, Tailwind) with a focus on performance and maintainability.
- Get your hands into the backend & core agentic platform as well! It’s all typescript.
- Collaborate closely with design, backend, and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end experiences.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on features, balancing speed and quality in a startup environment.
