About The Position

FutureSight is a venture studio that co-founds and funds vertical B2B AI software companies.
We bring ideas, early validation, capital, and an embedded team to the company-creation process. Our leadership team combines experienced builders and operators with institutional investors, giving our ventures a strong foundation from day zero.
We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to build and launch 0→1 MVPs across multiple early-stage B2B SaaS ventures.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategy and working software, using AI-native workflows to compress development timelines from months to weeks. You will operate as a true builder, working directly with founders to turn validated ideas into live, production-ready MVPs.

Requirements

• Technical Taste & Full-Stack Fluency - Deep experience in modern stacks (Python, TypeScript/Next.js, GCP or equivalent). Can quickly spot security risks, anti-patterns, and logic errors in AI-generated code
• Test-driven development mindset - Having an appreciation for software craftsmanship principles
• AI Orchestration Mindset - Strong appetite for emerging AI tools and workflows. Focus on orchestrating LLMs and coding agents rather than manual implementation
• Comfort with Ambiguity & Speed - Thrive in fast-paced environments. Manage multiple 0→1 MVPs concurrently, prioritizing working prototypes over perfect architecture
• Full-Stack Ownership - Comfortable across frontend and backend. Own technical implementation while partnering with the product leader on features and scope

Responsibilities

• Ship Fast & Often - Build and launch MVPs for multiple ventures, often context-switching between projects
• AI-Augmented Development - Use LLMs and coding agents to handle boilerplate, migrations, and refactoring, allowing you to focus on complex logic and user experience
• Founder Collaboration - Work directly with non-technical founders to translate their vision into reality through clear, non-jargon-filled communication
• Transition & Handoff - Build clean, documented foundations that can eventually be handed off to a permanent team or allow you to transition into a Founding Engineer role.
• Hands-on ownership from day one: Work on core product features and systems end-to-end, with increasing responsibility and autonomy as the business grows.
• Step into a founding role: Transition to early technical leader, gaining exposure to product decisions, customer feedback, and startup execution.
• Career acceleration: Develop skills beyond pure engineering—architecture, product thinking, and early-stage problem solving—at a pace unmatched in larger companies.
