Our client is an early-stage AI healthcare startup building automation systems to streamline complex insurance and revenue cycle workflows. Their platform leverages multimodal AI agents—spanning browser automation, voice AI, APIs, and messaging—to replace manual processes like benefits verification, prior authorization, and patient communications. Despite being early, the company has already secured major enterprise customers, including one of the largest healthcare systems in the U.S., and is experiencing strong demand with a growing customer pipeline. Founded by experienced operators from top technology and healthcare organizations, the team is focused on building a category-defining platform at the intersection of AI and healthcare operations. Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience as a full-stack or product engineer
- Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Experience building and shipping user-facing products end-to-end
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong product mindset with focus on real-world user impact
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments
- High ownership, speed, and willingness to take on ambiguous problems
- Demonstrated career growth or strong trajectory
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or voice AI systems
- Background in healthcare, fintech, or complex workflow automation
- Experience building customer-facing products with measurable impact
- Strong academic background from top technical programs
- Prior startup or founding engineer experience
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, or distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Build and ship multimodal AI agents across browser, voice, text, and API interfaces
- Own product features end-to-end, from concept to deployment with real customers
- Work directly with healthcare operators to understand workflows and deliver impactful solutions
- Design evaluation systems to measure and improve AI agent performance
- Contribute to core platform infrastructure (context, orchestration, memory, and tooling)
- Identify patterns across customers to shape product and platform strategy
- Rapidly prototype and iterate using the latest AI technologies
- Scale systems to handle increasing customer demand and complexity
- Collaborate closely with founders and play a key role in shaping engineering culture
