About The Position
Embedding VC backs founders building the next generation of AI-native startups — the kind redefining how work gets done, how software is built, and how intelligence becomes infrastructure. We partner early, help shape product 0→1, and work closely with teams inventing entirely new categories. While most people know us for our investments, what’s lesser known is that we often embed directly with founders at the earliest stage — recruiting, building, and helping them scale their founding teams. One of our companies is quietly building the foundation for autonomous enterprise software — AI agents that can understand context, act independently, and collaborate with humans to 100× productivity. Their first frontier sits at the intersection of developer tools, intelligent automation, and applied reasoning systems. About the Role You’ll join a small founding team of experienced builders working on state-of-the-art agentic systems that autonomously test, reason, and improve complex applications.
Requirements
- A hands-on engineer who thrives in early-stage, high-velocity environments.
- Deeply curious about how AI systems reason and interact with the real world.
- Skilled in Python and TypeScript with strong fundamentals across the stack.
- Mission-driven, collaborative, and eager to grow into a technical leader.
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship the core systems enabling autonomous testing and reasoning.
- Prototype agentic browser and device automation components.
- Work directly with founders on product roadmap, architecture, and early culture.
- Experiment with novel context-engineering and reasoning techniques.
- Move fast — from prototype to production — with high ownership.
