About The Position

Alpaca Health is building the operating system for independent healthcare practices, starting in autism care. We help clinicians launch and scale their own clinics by providing AI-powered software, payer contracting, and full back-office infrastructure. Our goal is simple: shift power in healthcare away from large consolidated entities and back to clinicians. We are growing quickly and expanding into new states this year. The problems we are solving are operationally complex, high-stakes, and deeply meaningful for families. We are backed by a leading early stage impact fund, Core Innovations Venture Capital, and are building for the long-term. We're focused on getting things right, enabling passionate provider to deliver ethical services. We are not optimizing for a short-term flip. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Founding BCBA to help build the clinical foundation of a fast-growing network of independent autism care practices. This is a leadership role for a clinician who wants to shape how high-quality ABA is delivered at scale while supporting other clinicians to launch and grow successful practices. You will work at the intersection of clinical quality, workforce development, and clinician engagement, helping design the systems, training, and supports that enable BCBAs and RBTs to thrive.

Requirements

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
You are extremely ambitious and want to build something meaningful at high velocity.

NYC-based candidates (or candidates open to relocation). We work 5 days a week in person.

Preferred experience in practice ownership, clinical director, operations, or multi-site leadership roles strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Develop programs that attract, onboard, and retain high-quality BCBAs
Facilitate peer learning groups, case consultations, and clinical roundtables
Build clinician feedback loops to continuously improve clinical workflows and tools
Support clinician-entrepreneurs launching and scaling independent practices
Design and deliver CEU opportunities for BCBAs and RBTs
Build a structured continuing education curriculum aligned with clinical quality goals
Partner with external experts and internal leaders to deliver advanced clinical training
Ensure compliance with BACB continuing education requirements
Develop scalable training pathways from entry-level candidates to competent RBTs
Create onboarding programs, competency assessments, and mentorship structures
Partner with recruiting and operations teams to strengthen hiring pipelines
Implement retention strategies including career ladders and performance-based development
Build systems and resources that support high-quality supervision practices
Develop treatment planning guidance, documentation standards, and clinical protocols
Provide consultation on complex cases and clinical decision-making
Support new clinical leaders and practice owners in developing management skills
Establish clinical best practices and outcome tracking frameworks
Design tools and workflows that improve efficiency without compromising care quality
Collaborate with product and operations teams to embed clinical standards into technology
Help define metrics for clinical excellence and continuous improvement
