About The Position
As a Founding Applied AI Engineer, you will build the next generation of AI-driven legal tools, focusing on automating complex contract workflows. Working directly with the CTO, you will own technical buildouts end-to-end and develop production-grade ML models. This is a high-impact role at a well-funded startup rapidly scaling its revenue and product.
Requirements
- Possesses strong computer science fundamentals and experience training ML models for production use-cases.
- Demonstrates high personal agency and the ability to drive projects to completion with limited direction.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment and is eager to progress faster than their industry peers.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy machine learning models specifically optimized for production-level legal document processing.
- Partner with the CTO to lead customer-facing technical implementations and full-stack product features.
- Own the entire lifecycle of complex systems, from initial architectural reasoning to identifying failure modes.
