About The Position

About Softlight Softlight is creating product and design agents that help you discover what to build. Today's AI prototyping tools assume your first idea is what you should build. But strong product decisions are rarely made this way. Creating great products means navigating business, product, and customer complexity, then using those insights to explore a wide range of ideas. Softlight learns your business, discovers product ideas, and designs them in ways you might not have thought of. It’s built for PMs, engineers, and designers. Our design partners range from growth stage startups to Fortune 500 companies. We raised $3.2M from the best in product AI that knows what to build can change the way products are created. So we're building a team that knows what the best products look like. We created products at companies like Meta, Uber, and Citadel. And our investors include product execs, CEOs, and founders at companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Plaid. The Role As a founding member, you’ll work closely with our founders and early team members to build the product, the company, and the culture. We’re early and run lean, so we expect you to bring an ownership mentality. The following includes (but is not limited to) what you’d work on:

Responsibilities

Owning novel AI systems we haven't seen others apply to this domain
Owning and building product, that you’ll ship directly to our users
Working closely with users to understand their problems and drive fixes fast
Working closely with our founders and early team members to define the roadmap and strategy
Making technical decisions about the models we use and the AI infrastructure we build
Growing the team to find people you’d be proud to work with
