About The Position

Our client is an early-stage AI startup building the voice operating system for knowledge workers —enabling users to control their computers entirely through voice. Today, users rely on the platform to write emails, respond in Slack, and interact with AI tools faster. The long-term vision is to create a system that not only executes commands, but anticipates user needs. Despite being early, the company already has strong traction with individual users and enterprise customers, including companies like Uber and Gusto. Backed by top investors including Y Combinator and Box Group, the company is rapidly scaling its go-to-market efforts. With a small, high-performing team, this is a unique opportunity to be the first sales hire and build the commercial engine from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales
  • Experience running full-cycle enterprise deals
  • Strong track record closing mid-market or enterprise contracts
  • Experience in PLG (product-led growth) environments
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environments
  • Strong ownership mindset and builder mentality
  • Comfortable working directly with founders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an early sales hire or founding AE
  • Background in developer tools, productivity, or AI products
  • Experience selling into technical or product teams
  • Experience building outbound or expansion motions from scratch
  • Strong analytical mindset (pipeline, scoring, conversion optimization)

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle enterprise sales from first touch to close
  • Convert product-led growth (PLG) into enterprise deals
  • Build and execute expansion strategies within existing accounts
  • Turn organic inbound demand into predictable revenue
  • Create and scale the outbound + inbound GTM motion
  • Develop foundational sales playbooks, messaging, and processes
  • Build pipeline scoring systems using product usage data
  • Partner closely with founders on GTM strategy and execution
  • Help define pricing, positioning, and enterprise sales motion
  • Lay the groundwork for scaling the future sales team
