About The Position

Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant and event space revenue, but many venues are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains. Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants and venues an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local them compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes other event services (DJs, florists, etc). Role Overview As the first Corporate Partnerships Account Executives at Perfect Venue, you will play a critical role in launching and growing the demand side of our platform by reaching out to companies and organizations that can use Perfect Venue to find and book the perfect venue for their next event. You’ll conduct product demos, refine our sales approach based on customer feedback, and work closely with our CEO on this new initiative. This role blends sales, event planning, and customer success. You’ll be the face of Perfect Venue for both new clients you source and inbound leads, ensuring that every event booked through our marketplace is a success. This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco Office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, sales, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-moving environment.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for marketing and client experience.
  • Passion for events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Event Planner Bookings
  • Reach out to new potential clients to introduce them to Perfect Venue to book venues.
  • Create and execute marketing initiatives that drive awareness and new business to the marketplace (ie events for event planners, social media, etc).
  • Event Planner Success
  • Manage inbound inquiries and ensure prospective clients are guided through the booking process.
  • Support clients in planning and executing events to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with venues to confirm details and resolve challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with event planners to drive repeat business.
