About The Position

The Ivy Street School is a small, year-round private residential special education school serving neurodiverse adolescents ages 13–22. We are committed to equity, access, and a student-first approach that prepares young people for adulthood and greater independence. We are seeking a Program Manager to support the day-to-day leadership and operations of our Foundations Residential Program. This role partners closely with the Program Director to ensure a safe, well-run residential environment while supporting staff development and student progress.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred
• Supervisory experience in a residential or special education setting preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with trauma-informed and behavioral support frameworks (training provided as needed)
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass required background screening

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and supervision within a 24-hour residential program
• Support, coach, and develop residential supervisors and counselors
• Assist with staffing, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and coverage needs
• Serve as program lead in the absence of the Program Director
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and documentation requirements
• Participate in crisis intervention and incident follow-up as needed
• Collaborate with school leadership, clinical teams, and families
• Support student transitions, programming, and residential activities
