About The Position

Come join our awesome team as a Part-Time Foundation, Marketing & Outreach Coordinator located at Gulf Coast Village. Gulf Coast Village is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization. POSITON SUMMARY The Foundation, Marketing & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for integrating campus-level fundraising, marketing, and community outreach activities to advance the mission, visibility, philanthropic support, and occupancy goals of the community. This role serves as the primary external-facing ambassador for the campus, strengthening donor relationships, referral pipelines, and community partnerships while ensuring alignment with Volunteers of America branding, values, and strategic objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fundraising and community outreach experience preferred.
  • Prior experience preferred in sales and marketing in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage campus foundation activities including annual giving, donor cultivation, sponsorships, special events, and targeted fundraising campaigns.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, foundations, corporations, and community partners in coordination with campus leadership.
  • Prepare, submit, and track grant proposals, coordinating with internal departments and VOA National Development resources as appropriate.
  • Maintain donor records, acknowledgements, stewardship plans, and reporting within approved donor database systems.
  • Coordinate donor recognition, appreciation events, and stewardship communications.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to establish annual fundraising goals, priorities, and budgets.
  • Serve as campus liaison with VOA National Development on reporting, compliance, and alignment.
  • Support occupancy growth across service lines through proactive outreach, lead development, and relationship management.
