Responsibilities

• Works independently and within a team on fundraising campaigns, event planning and other special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
• Attends and represents Northside at events, community settings and individual meetings when potential donor opportunities exist.
• Takes initiative to build relationships and partnerships with potential donors and sponsors.
• Assists in the development of marketing plans.
• Assists in managing the development of marketing materials - flyers, brochures, ads, web, etc.
• Conducts market research activities, including competitive analysis both on- and offline.
• Processes incoming donations.
• Maintains an organized system of tracking, monitoring and prioritizing tasks and projects assigned to the intern.
• Generates new ideas and business opportunities to increase fundraising and fund development to meet and exceed established goals.
• Prepares presentations.
• Provides support to social media efforts.
• Fulfills requests from marketing leads.
• Answers and/or fields telephone calls and communications, and responds as appropriate.
• Handles confidential and non-routine information with sensitivity.
• Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and have strong attention to detail.
