Based out of Pembroke Pines (FL), this position is responsible for recruitment and initial licensure and re-licensure of foster homes, visiting foster homes, and providing training and support to foster parents. Position Details: Salary: Starts at $24.04 - 28.23 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience) Schedule: works around families schedules; community based position. Prior foster home licensing experience a plus Other Requirements: Certification as a Child Welfare Licensing Counselor by the Florida Certification Board OR must be provisionally certified with completion of PRIDE training required Valid FL driver's license required Must be able to attend a 3-day, new hire orientation class from 9:00am - 5:00pm ET Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more.
