About The Position

About us Felicity is a beautiful creation tool for browser automations. Automating browser workflows is often a frustrating and time-consuming task for engineers and operators. At Felicity, our mission is to deliver a browser automation platform that combines elegant UI with blazing fast performance. We believe AI should enhance, not replace, structured systems. By layering AI with deterministic execution, Felicity delivers faster and more reliable outcomes than purely agentic tooling. We’re currently focused on the healthcare vertical, a space where manual workflows, data entry, and repetitive tasks are especially prevalent. Founded in late 2024, Felicity is already the browser automation platform of choice for several healthcare companies. We’ve raised $5.75M from top investors including Accel, XYZ, and Afore. You will join a small team of staff engineers from Square, Google, Oscar, Palantir, and Apple. Tech A real-time no-code editor built into a Chrome extension, powered by WXT. Advanced synchronization technology using CRDTs that allows live updates and consistency across multiple tabs and browsers. Proprietary execution engine, inspired by Playwright, built for speed and bulk runs on your local Chrome. Browser Automation Language (BAL) - our DSL that abstracts away instructions from execution and encodes common web paradigms. What you’ll do Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers in healthcare to understand their most important problems and then build solutions using the Felicity platform. As an FDSE you’ll be on the ground embedding with customers to gain a deep understanding of their most critical operations. Then, you’ll partner with them to transform those processes using Felicity. The FDSE role is a unique combo of software engineering and customer-facing work - you’ll have the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the healthcare world, work with senior leaders in the space, and drive massive impact for some of the world’s largest organizations. Here are some examples of what you’ll do each day: Meet with customer teams, remotely or in person, to scope out their critical processes Design a new process architecture with senior engineers Use the Felicity platform to build complex automated workflows Develop new integrations between Felicity and customer systems Run trainings and create user-facing documentation Create and run Felicity demos for sales calls
