About The Position

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to sit at the intersection of engineering, partners, and product. This role is ideal for a senior software engineer who has spent years building production systems and now wants to work closer to customers—without leaving hands-on engineering behind. You’ll work directly with strategic partners, operators, and internal product teams to deliver high-impact solutions quickly, while ensuring that bespoke work feeds back into scalable, reusable platform capabilities. This is not a support or solutions-only role: you’ll write real production code, influence core architecture, and help shape the Partner Engineering roadmap. This role requires someone who came up through a mid–senior SWE track and is comfortable operating in ambiguity, translating messy real-world constraints into durable software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a backend or full-stack software engineer shipping production systems
  • Led projects from architecture and design through implementation and launch
  • Built or integrated with external APIs, data pipelines, or partner systems
  • Worked in fast-moving startup environments where ambiguity, speed, and ownership were required
  • Partnered cross-functionally with product, ops, or non-technical stakeholders
  • Written clean, maintainable code while balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability
