About The Position

About Voltai Voltai is developing world models, and agents to learn, evaluate, plan, experiment, and interact with the physical world. We are starting out with understanding and building hardware; electronics systems and semiconductors where AI can design and create beyond human cognitive limits. The Team Backed by Silicon Valley’s top investors, Stanford University, and CEOs/Presidents of Google, AMD, Broadcom, Marvell, etc. We are a team of previous Stanford professors, SAIL researchers, Olympiad medalists (IPhO, IOI, etc.), CTOs of Synopsys & GlobalFoundries, Head of Sales & CRO of Cadence, former US Secretary of Defense, National Security Advisor, and Senior Foreign-Policy Advisor to four US presidents. The Role You'll deliver our AI platform to chip design floors and hardware labs of the world's leading semiconductor and consumer electronics companies.

Requirements

• 3+ years in backend engineering, full-stack development, or infrastructure/DevOpswe're open to other disciplines (e.g. mobile, frontend) provided you grok web applications and their deployment
• Strong systems design and debugging instincts
• Comfortable with the Docker ecosystem, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and IaC tools
• Excellent communication: you'll be on-site with senior engineers and executives at world-class companies
• Willingness to travel, mostly in California

Nice To Haves

• On-prem deployment experience in enterprise or air-gapped environments
• Prior field engineering, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
• Experience in EDA, semiconductor, or hardware-adjacent software environments

Responsibilities

• Own customer deployments at offices across the SF Bay Area, Cupertino, and Santa Clara.
• Port features from our cloud platform to on-prem environments inside some of the most locked-down infrastructure on the planet.
• Manage cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenShift: standing them up, keeping them healthy, debugging them when they're not.
• Be the feedback loop between customer environments and our engineering team.
