About The Position

We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to work directly with Solutions Architects and Technical Consultants to build, and deliver technical solutions in real-world environments. This is an AI-first engineering role. FDEs are expected to leverage AI tools and agent-based workflows as the primary way of building, debugging, and delivering solutions, not as an afterthought. You will work across the Salesforce platform, APIs, and custom integrations, using AI to accelerate development, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality outcomes at speed. FDEs play a critical role in unblocking implementations, accelerating time-to-value, and enabling both internal and partner-led delivery at scale. AI-NATIVE EXECUTION This role is fundamentally AI-driven. Forward Deployed Engineers are expected to use AI tools and agent-based systems as their primary way of working — including for coding, debugging, system design, and execution. You should continuously experiment with and adopt new AI tools, build agent-based workflows, and identify opportunities to automate and accelerate implementation work. Success in this role is defined in part by your ability to leverage AI to dramatically increase speed, quality, and output relative to traditional approaches. Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or implementation
  • Experience with Salesforce platform (Apex, data model, integrations)
  • Experience working with: REST APIs JSON / data transformations Integration patterns
  • Demonstrated ability to: Use AI tools for development and debugging Build quickly and iterate in ambiguous environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPQ, Billing, or Quote-to-Cash systems
  • Familiarity with Agent frameworks or automation workflows
  • Background in SaaS implementations or consulting

Responsibilities

  • Build & Deliver Customer Solutions Design and implement technical solutions directly in customer environments Configure and extend the platform using: Salesforce (Apex, flows, data model) APIs and integrations AI-assisted code generation and automation Solve complex, non-standard requirements quickly using AI-driven development workflows
  • AI-First Development & Execution Use AI and agent-based workflows as the primary development interface, including: Generating and iterating on code Debugging logs and API issues Designing integration patterns Automating repetitive tasks Continuously improve: Prompting techniques Agent workflows AI-assisted debugging and development
  • Salesforce Platform Development Build on the Salesforce platform using: Apex SOQL Data modeling Integration frameworks Use AI to: Accelerate development Validate solutions Reduce implementation errors
  • Integration & Customization Design and implement integrations between Nue and: CRM systems Billing systems Data platforms External APIs Use AI to: Generate integration logic Map data transformations Troubleshoot failures
  • Debugging & Problem Solving Diagnose and resolve API issues, data inconsistencies, system behavior Leverage AI to analyze logs, identify root causes, propose and validate fixes
  • Support Partner & Internal Delivery Assist internal Professional Services teams and implementation partners Provide AI-enabled solutions and guidance to accelerate partner delivery, reduce implementation friction
