About The Position

Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed AI startup building a next-generation platform for enterprise risk and compliance. Their product transforms complex institutional workflows by embedding AI agents into decision-making processes, enabling organizations to scale expertise and improve operational efficiency. Following a recent Series A raise, the company is experiencing rapid traction with enterprise customers and is scaling quickly to meet demand. This is an opportunity to join early and work directly with customers to deploy cutting-edge AI systems in real-world environments.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role (e.g., Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar)
  • Strong proficiency in Python and ability to build integrations, prototypes, and production features
  • Experience working with AI/LLM systems, prompt engineering, or ML pipelines
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience owning outcomes tied to business metrics (e.g., deployment success, retention, expansion)
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI-native startups or companies deploying LLM-based products
  • Background working with enterprise customers in regulated industries (e.g., fintech, compliance)
  • Experience building integrations between complex systems
  • Exposure to product thinking and influencing roadmap decisions
  • Prior experience in high-growth or early-stage environments

Responsibilities

  • Embed directly with enterprise customers to understand workflows and deploy AI-powered solutions
  • Lead technical implementations, integrations, and configuration of AI systems in production environments
  • Build prototypes, custom features, and integrations to solve customer-specific problems
  • Act as the technical owner of customer relationships, driving success metrics such as adoption, expansion, and retention
  • Translate customer feedback into product insights and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams
  • Work across engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver high-impact solutions
  • Operate in a highly dynamic environment with a mix of technical problem-solving and customer interaction
