About The Position

Kick start your engineering career at Accenture as a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE). This early‑career role is designed for recent graduates with strong software engineering foundations, high learning agility, and demonstrated AI savviness. FDEs are hired with a clear hire‑to‑train model and developed into client‑facing, full‑stack, cloud‑native engineers embedded directly with client teams. The Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, building and evolving custom applications, platforms, and APIs. You will leverage cloud, DevOps, and AI tools to accelerate delivery while learning how to translate business needs into scalable, production‑ready solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• Foundational programming experience (Java/JVM, .NET, Python, or Node.js)
• Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Academic projects or internships in software development
• Understanding of Agile fundamentals

• API and service‑oriented architectures
• Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• DevOps concepts and automation
• Frontend frameworks such as React or Angular

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver client solutions
• Design, build, test, and deploy custom applications and services
• Develop API‑driven and platform‑based solutions
• Work in Agile delivery models (Scrum, Lean, XP)
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and learning
• Contribute to proofs of concept, technical documentation, and solution development
• Engage in client‑facing environments and clearly communicate technical concepts
