Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Individual must be able to physically perform tasks required of position.

Responsibilities

Weigh and add additives for liquid shortening.
Votate/crystallize all liquid shortening
Votate liquid margarine
Build and fill totes
Monitor storage tank levels at all times
Dump cubes of emulsifiers
Transfer various oils from tank to tank as necessary
Give breaks to maintainer on Line 13 and others as time permits
Assist with changeovers.
Communicate with oil unloaders, maintainers, and supervisors
Maintain accurate and legible paperwork.
Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.

Hourly starting rate of $26.64 with opportunities for hourly rate increases and career progression. Positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts are eligible for a $0.25/hr shift differential.
