Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education or minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar environment in lieu of education.
• Physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with and understand computerized control screens.
• Ability to multitask/formulate across multiple vessels and reactions.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and blend batches using computerized HMI/PLC system as well as manual blends.
• Follow production tickets to mix and react raw materials resulting in finished products.
• Comply with plant policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in formulation of each batch of product.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Ensure there are no unlabeled containers in work area of any type.
• Assist all plant personnel in seeking ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency throughout plant.
• Assist formulator in monitoring inventory.
• Other duties as required.
