DESCRIPTION: Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist I, Formulation, where you'll make meaningful contributions to products that help make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll perform formulation and manufacturing activities in a GMP/ISO-regulated environment, working with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. You'll execute manufacturing protocols, troubleshoot processes, maintain detailed documentation, and collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality output. This position offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented setting focused on safety, quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required with no prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing, formulation development, or related laboratory work
• Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and GMP manufacturing practices
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical methods and instrumentation
• Proficient in documentation practices and batch record completion
• Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP, ISO)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPE
• Ability to work flexible hours including possible shift work
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols
• Knowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities
